The fees listed are for simple wills and LPAs. If significant additional advice regarding trusts or inheritance tax is required further fees may be charged. An additional registration fee of £82 per document is charged by the Office of the Public Guardian for Lasting Powers of Attorney. It is recommended that registration is carried out straight away but this is not compulsory.

In most cases I will agree a fixed price with you at the outset of your matter so you always know what the costs are going to be from the start. Please note that a court fee of £273 is payable to obtain a grant of probate and other third party disbursements may apply.
For a simple estate with no Inheritance Tax payments due
In most cases I charge a fixed fee of 2% + VAT of the total estate asset value to administer the whole estate from the initial probate application to the final payment to beneficiaries, so you know exactly what it will cost from the very beginning.
Prices start from the figures below. The Land Registration system in the UK is complex and each property is unique so it is necessary that you obtain a bespoke fee estimate for your matter. Property work also incurs third party disbursements such as searches, Land Registry fees and land taxes. Please contact me for a bespoke estimate.
These are fixed estimates based on a standard matter. A personalised confirmation of your estimate will be sent to you upon receipt of your instructions. If any additional charges or costs will be relevant to your matter you will always be informed of this before any costs are incurred.
