The fees listed are for simple wills and LPAs. Trusts, complex documents and inheritance tax guidance may require further fees to be charged. An additional registration fee of £92 per document is charged by the Office of the Public Guardian for Lasting Powers of Attorney. It is recommended that registration is carried out straight away but this is not compulsory. An ID fee of £24 per person is also payable to verify ID.

For a simple estate with a valid will and no Inheritance Tax reporting the minimum fee of £795 + VAT will be charged.
This increases to £1,450 + VAT if there is no will or inheritance tax reports are required.
Very complex estates may attract higher fees.
Simple estates with a valid will and small number of assets will be charged at £2,445 + VAT for the complete administration of the estate from start to finish. More complex estates will range from £3,900 + VAT depending on complexity. These prices do not include the conveyancing for a property sale, which is charged separately.

Prices start from the figures below. The Land Registration system in the UK is complex and each property is unique so it is necessary that you obtain a bespoke fee estimate for your matter. Property work also incurs third party disbursements such as searches, Land Registry fees and land taxes. Please contact me for a bespoke estimate.
